The music model download
Lyrisona makes its music on your iPhone, so on first use it downloads its open-source music model once, about 2.6 GB. Use Wi-Fi if you can. You may leave the app; the download continues in the background and resumes if it is interrupted. Each file is checked against a known checksum before it is used.
Lyric drafting is unavailable
Lyrics are written by a third-party AI service, so drafting needs an internet connection and your one-time permission (asked the first time you tap Draft lyrics). If you chose Not now, tap Draft lyrics again to see the permission prompt. You can always type or paste your own lyrics on the Lyrics step.
Which languages work?
Songs can be written and sung in English, Chinese (Mandarin), Korean, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese, plus Thai as an experiment. Thai songs are sung from a romanised version of the lyrics, so pronunciation is approximate, and their videos use full-screen lyrics because automatic lyric timing is not available for Thai.
The lyrics in my video do not follow the singing
Lyrisona listens to your finished song and matches the sung words to your lyric lines. The first time you use a language, iOS downloads its speech model, which can take a few minutes; the player shows this. Lines the singer skipped or changed are placed between their neighbours. Open the song and tap Sync lyrics to singing to redo it.
Generation stopped or the phone got warm
Keep Lyrisona on screen while a song is being made; iPhone pauses this kind of work in the background. If the phone is very warm, let it cool for a few minutes and try again. A song takes roughly one to two minutes.
Free songs and the unlimited unlock
Your first five songs are free. After that, a single purchase of Unlimited songs (about USD 1.99) removes the limit for good; there is no subscription. If you reinstall or change phones, open About and tap Restore purchases.
Freeing space
Swipe a song to the left in My songs to delete it and its files.
